Our mission is to: "Inspire and promote a tradition of character, education, service, and culture amongst youth and their families regardless of ethnic, racial, or cultural background; ensuring that the activities are an essential part of the development of leaders of tomorrow." Through innovative programs, impactful partnerships, and transformative experiences, we empower young people to become engaged citizens, change-makers, and advocates for a better future.
Our Story
Founded in 1996 by Genine LaTrice Perez, Executive Director, Teen Tours Society, Inc. began as a vision to provide girls of color in Fort Smith, Arkansas with opportunities beyond their immediate neighborhood—focusing on character, service, education, and culture. What started as a local initiative has grown into a dynamic organization that supports all youth and their families, ensuring they have the skills, resources, and confidence to lead with purpose. We believe that young people should not only dream big but also have the tools and experiences to turn their dreams into reality. Whether through leadership training, service projects, or cultural exposure, our goal remains the same—to equip youth of all ages with essential life skills that will help them navigate their future successfully and take pride in their role as citizens.
