Miss Teen Tours Girls of Purpose

Miss Teen Tours is more than a pageant—it’s a transformative leadership and mentoring experience for young women aged 11-18. Rooted in the core values of character, service, education, and culture, our program nurtures confident, socially aware, and purpose-driven leaders. Our Story Founded in 1997 as Miss Black Teen Tours, our program initially focused on cultural awareness and community service for young women of color. As interest grew, we expanded our reach in 2006 to welcome all young ladies committed to personal growth and civic engagement. Today, Miss Teen Tours provides a six-month journey of mentorship, workshops, and service—culminating in local, regional, and national opportunities for achievement. The Miss Teen Tours Experience Each participant applies for one of 15 exclusive spots at a local tour site, where she is guided by a DIVA DIRECTOR (mentor) through:

  • The Summer Teen Tour Society – Leadership training, social etiquette, fitness, health, and pageantry prep.
  • Regional Conferences – Networking and workshops covering Pageantry 101 & 202, community engagement, and personal development.
  • Service Projects – Giving back through initiatives like Little Free Food Pantry, Purpose Bags for the Unsheltered, and JUDGE LESS LOVE MORE Movement.
  • Direct This! Workshops & Retreats – Training for women interested in mentoring and becoming directors in our system.
  • Regional & National Pageants – A celebration of growth, achievement, and confidence. Participants who complete program requirements may compete at the regional and national levels.
